aPolWMATIC is an interest-bearing token generated by the AAVE protocol when you deposit POL into its platform. This token represents your share in AAVE's liquidity pool and accrues interest generated by lending and other activities within the protocol. By staking aPolWMATIC in Goblin Saga, you not only maintain exposure to AAVE's interest but also earn additional rewards in WGSA Tokens.
By staking aPolWMATIC, users earn WGSA constantly while their aPolWMATIC balance grows with the interest generated by the contract and AAVE.
Automatically Generated Interest:
The contract deposits aPolWMATIC into AAVE, where it earns interest over time.
Interest is distributed proportionally to each user based on their staking position.
Rewards When Unstaking:
When a user unstakes, the contract releases their staked aPolWMATIC balance plus the accumulated interest.
In the image, you can see a user withdrawing 1.6 aPolWMATIC, which was their staked balance.
Upon unstaking, the contract automatically distributes the earned interest.
Interest Distribution:
80% of the interest goes directly to the user, increasing their balance and allowing them to earn even more interest.
20% of the interest stays in the contract to continue generating returns on AAVE and sustaining the system.
The larger a user’s staking position, the greater their interest rewards.
